Submit a News Item
Philanthropy Australia invites you to submit your News items for posting on our Blog & News page. Your news may also be tweeted on the PhilanthropyAus Twitter feed.
The news item must be of interest specifically to Philanthropy Australia's primary audience - grantmakers.
Please follow the steps below to submit your news items.
Processing Time
Allow 2-4 business days for your item to be addressed. If your news item requires attention before this, please contact us.
1. Make sure your item is relevant
Your item is probably not relevant for the News page of Philanthropy Australia's website if:
- You are seeking funding from philanthropic sources
- You are advertising services not specific to the philanthropic sector
- Your organisation/news item is not engaging in philanthropic activity (including community investment, volunteering, pro bono, etc)
- You are running a fundraising event
- Your target audience are those seeking funding
Your item is probably relevant if:
- It is relevant to the types of people/organisations who are Members of Philanthropy Australia (you may wish to browse the Members List) in terms of education, evaluation or promotion of philanthropic activity.

If you are unsure, complete the following steps and Philanthropy Australia will make an editorial decision as to whether your item is relevant. You will be notified of the decision made.
